Clarity
July 5th, 2023
People are not amazed by a murky ocean. People are amazed by water that is clear, with high visibility. People do not show off a hazy pool. People show off a crystal blue pool. People want to see as far as possible. They do not want to be left wondering what is three feet in front of them. Clarity in water is a delicacy but clarity in life is an absolute necessity.
Clarity is found by finding purpose and pointing your internal arrow forward. With purpose you know the direction you should be moving. Everything else will correct itself as you move in an effort to pursue your purpose. Clarity is instrumental in this journey because clarity lets you know if you are on the right path. Sometimes you must attempt countless things, actions, and pursuits in order to find the most clear path. The clear path that undeniably leads you to passion. This clear path of clarity will eventually open up and grant you the vision that you seek. Go on that random date. Try that new sport. Read the book from an abnormal genre. Sign up for that group. Do countless things until the vision for where your passion is strongest becomes crystal clear.
Silence and alone time aid you on the pursuit of becoming more clear on life. Use time with yourself to find clarity. Becoming comfortable existing in your own presence offers you a safe place to turn to. A safe place where you can ponder all of your thoughts and problems. A safe place where you can figure out your next move and what you desire doing. Time with yourself is the most freeing option to finding clarity because you alone are deciding what you need to be clear on. Take a long walk in nature. Meditate with the warmth of a sunrise on your face. Go for an evening drive with the music off. Be intentional about being alone and clarity will be intentional about finding you.
Clarity is not a journey with any specific ending. Some paths that begin clear will end up becoming muddled and dark. Not everything will be perfect when pursuing purpose and clarity. Just like life, finding clarity in your pursuits is a never-ending journey. What is clear today can be unclear in six months. Sometimes the clearest path opens up after journeying through the mud and darkness. Keep pushing forward and keep finding clarity.
